What we collect
- What you send us. The contact and careers forms collect what you type — name, company, email, message, and for applications a role and work links. Submissions are delivered to our inbox by Formspree, our form processor.
- Scheduling. Booking a call through Cal.com collects your name, email, and the time you choose, under Cal.com’s own terms.
- Analytics — only if you accept cookies. With your consent, Google Analytics counts visits: pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, and device and browser type. If you decline, no analytics runs and no Google code loads. See the Cookie Policy.
- The newsletter. Subscribing to Ad Economics happens on Substack, under Substack’s privacy policy. We see subscriber emails through Substack’s publisher tools.
How we use it
To answer inquiries, evaluate applications, hold scheduled calls, send the newsletter you subscribed to, and understand which pages get read. That is the complete list. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who processes it
Service providers that handle data on our behalf: Formspree (forms), Cal.com (scheduling), Google LLC (analytics, consent-gated), Substack (newsletter), and our website hosting provider. Each processes data under its own published terms.
How long we keep it
Correspondence and applications: as long as the relationship or conversation warrants. Analytics data: per our Google Analytics retention setting (14 months). We delete personal data on request.
Your choices
Email [email protected] to access, correct, or delete anything we hold about you. Decline the cookie banner and no analytics cookie is ever set. Every newsletter email carries an unsubscribe link.
Changes
If this policy changes, the change and its effective date appear on this page.
